Luseane Halaevalu Mataʻaho/en

Luseane Halaevalu Mataʻaho, as daughter of a Tuʻi Kanokupolu, was destined to become a moheofo, the principal wife of the Tuʻi Tonga. But her brother Tāufaʻāhau was the enemy of Sanualio Laufilitonga, and he worked out a trick to deprive the latter of an heir. He sent his sister first away to become a wife of the current Tuʻihaʻateiho, and only after she had given birth to a child was she sent to the Tuʻi Tonga. But then no longer a virgin, she was not acceptable any more. Flag of Tonga.svg FOKI
